Share on FacebookIn putting together this charity auction site: www.lettucesellit.com, I found I neede terms of service and privacy policy. I'm not a lawyer and so I went looking for an open licensed version of these two documents I could use to get me started. Wala! Wordpress has generously licensed both of their versions of these documents under creative commons. Just in case you find is useful, here's the links and the article I found: http://www.inpropriapersona.com/2009/04/reusable-example-privacy-policy-and.html

Share on FacebookThere is was on Craig's list - a little add that read something like this: White collar guy homeless in the Twin Cities, read my story. It carried a link to his blog. That's how I became aware of Chris Jenkes.
And last week, I was able to finish the first phase of his website which he's established to assist others in his situation. Chris still sleeps in his car. Chris still wonders how he'll support even that much lifestyle when his meager savings run out. But there he is, reaching out to try to help others in the same situation.
Read about Chris, Chris's friends, and how you can make a difference for them at his new website: http://www.homelesshelpnetwork.org

Share on FacebookVacation bible school is sure a lot different today than when I was a kid. But rather than bore you with stories of my youth, I’ll bore you with stories of how to get your church up and registering parents online for the least amount of time and effort.
If you don’t have a gmail account, you need one for this. When you get GMail, you get access to Google Docs with it. Google Docs has a document type of form, which saves it’s data to a Google Docs spreadsheet.
Using Google Docs, it’s easy to make a form for vacation bible school registration that saves the registered information safely to a spreadsheet in a private account that only you and the people you’ve shared it with can access.
I like to take the form that Google generates and bring it over to my own server where I can add images and CSS to make it look nice, but they work as is. And they even come with embed code you can use from your Blog or CMS.

Share on FacebookThe words from Pastor Joel are beautifully arranged and all for a few videos shipped from Amazon to Malawi. The shipment took five weeks, and was delivered two weeks late. But it got there. Please read this beautiful letter:

IT DETERMINES WHOS HAND IS IN IT
I would like to express my deep sense of gratitude this afternoon on
the subject “IT DETERMINES WHOS HAND IS IN IT” .When Jesus took the
five loaves and the two fishes, and blessed them. The multitude did
eat, and were all filled (Luke 9:16).kjv
I personally realized that the Hands of God, are not ordinary hands,
Two fishes and five loaves in the hands of God fed thousands of
people, two nails in the hands of God brought salvation to the entire
nation and same hands also brought Lazarus from the dead. “IT
DETERMINES WHOS HAND IS IN IT”.
If everything depends in these mighty hands, I want to assure you that
you want have stress and doubt in life or in some occasions or
situations. Today I can testify that, I have seen the power of these
mighty hands, Last time when I received your mail dated 12 march 2010,
that you have ordered my movies from AMAZON and they will be shipped
to Me here in Malawi, I remember you asked me one thing, thus to pray
for their safe delivery in which I did. My prayer was short “Lord as
it determines whose hand is in it, and I have heard what your hands
did in Luke 9:16, I leave the Movies in your hands amen”.
Today am praising God for delivering safely the Movies to us here in
Malawi and springs of life outreach Ministries is blessed and we are
not the same as before we are in the next level “Praise God”
Bobbi am speech less what to tell you but you can confirm AMAZON that
I have received the stuff.
May God bless you Hundred times more and increase you in everything
you are doing.
I repeat to say am speechless on how to thank you Bobbi
God Bless

Here’s a blog about being homeless in the Twin Cities, but this problem is everywhere.

Diary of a Twin Cities White Collar Homeless Man Walking
I'm a 54 white collar professional with over 27 years of mkt. experience, but am now two plus years jobless, now homeless and living out of my car. I am not using this platform to blame others for my misfortune or to seek help for myself, but rather to spread awareness about homelessness. ...
